... out of the bus to greet us and other couples as we meandered through the city picking up the last few passengers before heading out of the city. We stopped once we were past the enormous sprawl of suburbs and had some lunch in a small town called Koo Wee Rup. The next stop on our trip was a wildlife park. This is basically a small zoo, full of Australia-specific animals and, of course, farm animals. No, I don't know why there are donkeys there. This was possibly the best thing ...

... little penguins return to their nests ... they came out the sea 5 at a time, quickly moved across the sand, aware of sea birds but worried of hawks which might steal their young. It is such an incredible sight, the noise of the calling of parents to young. You could see the parents feeding. So magical.

Back home around 11.30pm, needed a hot drink to thaw out.

... is where Kylie and Grants other house is and it's were Nev and Joy used to live. We went over because Nev and Joy have been telling us about their former neighbours who go all out at Christmas and live just near where they do carols by candle light and fireworks as a Christmas tradition. It was still light when we got to Brighton so we called in to see Kylie and the kids briefly whilst we waited for the sun to set. After our stop off we headed to Jan and Ann's house ...
