We decided to walk the 0.8 miles from the Lincoln station to The Old Palace. Mr Google suggested the way........just forgot to advise the incline. It was steep, and we are fully laden with clothing, bags and baileys. Check in, dump the bags ...

Last night we had a lamb roast and pav to celebrate Australia Day, We have found a couple of favourite places in Newark including a nearby park, Devon and Scone, a coffee shop called Strays and a pub called Oscars. Today was our last day in Newark so we ensured we visited each of these. We re off to London for a day before we depart for home on Thursday. Seeyou all ...
