Afterward, I talked with Evelyn, who was on the prayer list some time in the past year or so, but who is doing a lot better now. I had not known that she had spent some time in England, touring and generally having a good time, some years back.

Soon after services, there was a buffet dinner for which people had bought tickets ahead of time. It was very classy, and the tables reminded me of those we ate around, at the Greensboro Women's Enrichment Weekend back in June. I waas hoping to get to sit ...

We tried to go to bed soon after that, because we would have to be up really early the next morning, in order to make a planned excursion, and arrive for the the 2pm choir practice in Cincinnati. I didn't sleep that well because I was restless and the room temperature was too warm, but the bed was very comfortable.
