... we headed of in different directions. We started off in the Long room in the Pavillion, then the committee room, bar, and the visitor's dressing room. Then we went across to a part of the ground which has nothing to do with cricket - a tennis court. Called Real tennis, this version is a kind of cross between tennis and squash and was played in a courtyard built to the same dimensions as the monks courtyard who invented it. Interesting.

As is usually the case, packing went something along the lines of: stares at bag...sighs...walks off...walks back...nope, really can’t be *****, that’s never going to fit in there...f*****g cereal bars................MUUUUUUUM. Ten minutes later, the bag is packed, leaving me to mutter something about it definitely not fitting initially. Stuff must have shrunk.
