... was to take us around the shopping arcades of Melbourne. Some modern, but most reminiscent of London's Leadenhall market - but in a smaller scale. The best thing about the arcades is that they were full of chocolate shops who were happy to give out free samples, plus we passed the most amazing looking cake shop. I could only dream of visiting though as it was mega expensive, plus there was also a massive queue. The last section we went through wasn't really an arcade, but ...

Day Sixteen – Melbourne
We are back in the big city. Our apartment is second floor of a modern building in Fairfield, a close-in suburb of Melbourne. We are just a two block walk from the local street of small shops and restaurants.
