... a tea and we shared a panini, in the Costa. £10.27! Back home that would have been about £7.65, quite a difference. I used my iPhone as a personal hotspot in the car, so I could check and send emails...I love the technology. Had a good flight, good landing, fast through passport control, luggage arrived quickly, met with car by Emma's parents, got down to Southampton quickly in time for 9am ferry - it's Cowes week so ferries are very busy - told to wait until 11am! We then took the scenic route back to Southampton through my favourites - the tree tunnels, through gorgeous little villages with thatched roofed cottages and great little old pubs. Nice to be out in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle! We arrived back at 23 Dingle Way - watched some tennis and ...

... there at all. That afternoon Julia and David played duplicate bridge together and Chris and I went to a far more relaxing art lesson. It was a bit bumpy down the Bay of Biscay, but much more comfortable in the lower decks than up at the top where the art was. Our days settled into the same gentle routine, with the inclusion of a church service and afternoon naps for me as the cold took hold. David and Julia have begun to climb the charts ...
