We said our goodbyes with heavy hearts, taking our leave with quiet footsteps. Water in Israel - I played in the waves of the Mediterranean, dipped a hand in Tel Dan, swam in the Kinneret,, lounged in the waterfalls of Ein Gedi and sat in the Dead Sea . . . not bad at all.
Now that I'm on a roll, I'm going back to Zefat (one of these days) and continue on with my great adventure.
... cookies and milk (how awesome is that?!), because we went out for a really nice dinner on State St, the main artery of the city. There are over 100 restaurants and bars on this one street, as well as tons of shopping. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the perfect weather and people-watching.
Back to the hotel for a hottub with a glass of wine, a perfect ending to a fantastic day. I could get used to this...
