      ... 30 knot range. In an effort to keep the sand" flour" out of the boat we closed all windows, ports, vents and doors. And still the sand flour got into and onto everything - the bed, our shoes and all surfaces, be they vertical or horizontal, it didn't matter. The floors were covered as were the counter tops.       ... full of friggin crazies, the boardwalk is scattered with jewellery and henna tattoo stalls and musicians. We had to keep out whits about us not to get run over by skateboarders, cyclists or rollerbladers.       ... ve preferred to stay here instead of Morro Bay as it seemed very 'happening', with a lot of young people around due the university close by (we even drove past some frat houses!).
