Phil posted pictures Friday from some fun sight-seeing we got to do in London on Thursday. Since our RV hadn't cleared customs yet, we were forced to get a hotel room and see the town! (Oh darn!)

So I'll tell you, having lived and worked in London for about 8 months 15 years ago, it is SO much more fun visiting as a tourist!!! I think maybe it's one of those "smile and the whole world smiles with you" kind of things. Everyone seems so nice, so happy, so friendly! :-)

... different views of London. The weather was perfect, so we had good clear views over this wonderful panorama. We then proceeded to have a 3 course meal, which was very pretty to look at, but not as good as we expected for such a lovely restaurant location. We also enjoyed a bottle of Barolo Tuscan wine. It was silly expensive, but we thoroughly enjoyed sipping this and watching the busy London world The service was very good and ...
