          ... on the side and the little sister “the missouri
          river”. I discovered the first school of Iowa, a little hut with
          benches outside and discovered a bit of myself I guess.

          So yes they have it on Highway 61 and Todd what a lovely advice
          again, thanks.

          Finally I had to say my farewell to this corner of quiet America
          before heading back again to the vibrant Chicago where my friend Sandy will be landed few hours later.

          ... sounded the horn every few minutes that did it. (Interesting statistic: apparently, an Amtrak train hits a person or vehicle once every three hours or so hence the drivers have to sound their horns every time they approach a crossing, of which there seemed to be many that night!) So, at about 6.30am Bryony rose, which really wasn't bad at all, and we then slowly but surely extracted ourselves from our sleeping quarters and braced ourselves ...

          ... at the Harris Theatre. It was a nice spot to take a breather, have something to eat and listen to the music. We then visited the bean, neither Kirsty not Katie had heard of the bean, I'd seen it in films and TV before. It basically a big jelly bean dropped in the park and is covered in a mirror.           ... br> We flew via Detroit without a problem (just within weight) although we came back to rain and a 'loud' sports bar next to hotel for food and (craft) beer.
          Flew home in the morning with no issues, if you ignore Liz's bag taking 75 minutes to appear at Gatwick.
