      An early start this morning and as usual we got an earlier train , which was boarding in 5 mins, so we arrived in Dover before we had left France.
      The worst thing that struck us was the awful state of the English roads. The concrete M20 is diabolical. What on earth foreign visitors must think - its an awful welcome to the country.
      The Spanish road system is superb and the French roads were all open in snow and ice.

      Another day another island, and beautiful weather yet again as we come in towards Tortola. The good news is that we are the only ship in Roadtown, the bad news is that the new jetty and cruise dock is not yet completed so we are tendering.       ... and blue sky showed through. The items of interest along the way, apart from the usual villages and countryside, were a traffic diversion due to a truck accident and a dead badger. In Poole we parked near the harbour and looked out to Brownsea Island in the bay.
