    10am and we are off to Durham to see my dearest sister. It's a beautiful day to drive the 300 odd miles. I couldn't believe how many different sets are roadworks there are..with 40 & 50 mph limits its slowing us down! We saw two red kites over Oxford, and just after Doncaster there were six windmills.     While sitting in a quite residential street Amy and I used the iPad to picked a hotel called Jingles in a town called Emsworth further along the A3. Jingles was nice with a guest lounge downstairs, with one on the bedrooms on the ground level, and the other upstairs.

    ... fete held in the grounds of a large house (I don't think it qualified as a 'Stately Home' but I'm not sure how these things work.
