... We powered through though and made it 4 miles out of lodging until we were forced to rack due to the gravelling crew. Phillipsburg is an awesome small town with a killer candy shop. I had to think of my mom when they were giving out free samples of fudge. Plan is to go check out the night view from the top of a hill tonight then head to Butte in the ...

... a foot of snow accumulation and the "plower guy" hadn't totally blocked the entranced to the house. I got the snow blower out and cleared enough space to get unloaded without any problem. As I was doing so, who should appear but the "guy" himself. He was kind enough not to plow the Sooby off of the road and not "replace" the snow I'd already moved. It's always a contest. For some reason they always put the snow on the ...

... visit from my old friend, Dick, on Wednesday. We haven't spent a night under the same roof, since the seventies. I've known him since 1967, pre-Lynn. It was very cool to reminisce and talk about old friends and such. We both enjoyed the eagles and had a nice walk together.

Here at home, if/when the weather cooperates, its time to prune the two apple trees. I keep them ...
