... seven overs were good but Richie Bresnan (Tim Bresnan's brother) got stuck into me for the last two of my overs. ... hotel at 9 to give ourselves plenty of time to get to Kings Cross and find out where we need to go. Carrying our luggage from the hotel to Pimlico station was a lot harder then I thought it would be. We finally made it to Pimlico and caught the tube to Kings Cross with plenty of time to spare, so we sat down to rest our legs at Pret and I had a coffee. We eventually found out which platform we had to catch the train from (unfortunately it wasn't platform 9 3/4) ...

Well the end of January and the start of February has brought yet more rain here in the North. Less than the South but still the ground underfoot is sodden. We continue to prepare for the return to France in March and the arrival of our new grandchild. She will be born in early April and we can't wait to meet her. The hedging plants arrived today.
