... several festivals throughout the year.  Right passed Platt Fields I walk into Rushholme, otherwise known as The Curry Mile.  This is the most interesting section of my walk to class!  It is a full mile dedicated to residents from the Middle East and other locations.  This is a full mile filled with traditional dress shops, shisha cafes, and food ranging from Afghanistan to India.  The scent of curry is literally in the air, hence the name Curry Mile!  ...

... to have the edges knocked off them? I do so wish, with little hope, that one or two of them would stand up and say vote for our party as we are going to form a coalition with those guys. Then I could vote against the whole nonsense of coalition. I just wish we had a credible green alternative over here as they have in Brittany.

Any way off to Huddersfield on Wednesday to go to an in-house SD seminar and pick up a rhubarb forcer from Claire. That will be cool.

I made my way back into town, climbed for a couple of gruelling hours (I’m still quite sore) with Joe Holden, an experienced and etremely proficient climber who had done some freelance work at the YMCA and with whom I'd been for a few nights out, and a mate of his, followed by a massive mixed grill at his local pub. A day well spent!
