Hello From London! Today was a fun day being a tourist! After work and class me and my three friends Josh, Maria and Julianne went to southbank to see all the popular London landmarks. Over the past 2 days we spent time with the men and women of the London Ambulance Service. Unlike our organisation, here in the UK their Ambulance is run by the NHS which is a government department, however we do have a lot in common. I found the experience at Harrods to be far better than I had expected. I had heard all sorts of things about dress codes, but saw very casually dressed people inside. Yes, the prices were probably only for the wealthy, but I was treated like royalty wherever I went within the store - not an overbearing fawning, behaviour, but consideration, politeness and courtesy.
