        ... Thanks for following along, it's been fun and gratifying to know friends and family have been on the trip with us.

        Many have commented it was "the trip of a lifetime". Well, yes... but we hope not, more one of our trips during our lifetime. We're already thinking about where to go next.

        ... we were shown some very impressive examples of the university's achievements. I already knew that the university invented DNA fingerprinting. The geology department had a T-Rex skeleton showcased inside the building that was excavated by the university. I found it odd that this wasn't instead placed in the Archaeology department.         ... 1485. So after a hearty cooked breakfast which is a birthday tradition for the whole family, we set off on the 75 minute drive to Bosworth. Slow moving trucks held up the trip to some extent however we are getting use to this on the A roads and we left ourselves plenty of time to get there.
