... so satisfying. There was a large seating area for us, which is always a bonus.

After breakfast we came back to the room and grabbed our day bag and headed out to see the sights of Glasgow. Just around the corner from our hotel is a main shopping area, including two shopping malls. We successfully located Build a Bear, Disney store, Pandora, and a few other places we wanted to see. ... 10 miles long and a mile wide near the centre. A cruise on one of the many boats docked at the village pier was a welcome and relaxing break from the bike and we were able to view the many beautifully restored hotels and expensive homes that bordered the Lake. An ice cream from a local shop completed our brief stop and then it was back on the road. ... Yes, they did the "full monty".

Good weather was still with us so it was great just to get out and walk around. We visited the Botanic Gardens and walked down Byres Road near the university. There were lots of students around there and in the area near our B and B which gave the areas a youthful "vibe".

An interesting and eclectic city.. definitely worth the visit..
