    ... as we passed the hours. We then saw a sign for the home of the Jolly Green Giant. We just had to stop in Blue Earth, Minnesota to see the 55 foot tall statue of the big guy. We stopped at a small dairy that promised ice cream and cheese but were sorely disappointed they had no ice cream at all in the case and only some cheese curds and farmers cheese.     We started our journey down the Great River Road with more impending storm warnings for the evening. The traffic was a little hectic getting out of the city but it didn't take long for the suburbs to open up into rolling hills and farmland.     ... about it. You get a bigger seat and more leg room, snacks and alcohol (beer, wine, vodka, gin, bailey's) They also hang up your coat for you. It is nice not to have to shut down electronics. There was wifi but for such a short trip, I didn't pay for it. I hope it's easy for Carrie to pick me up. I checked a bag, so I'll have to collect that.
