    ... as we passed the hours. We then saw a sign for the home of the Jolly Green Giant. We just had to stop in Blue Earth, Minnesota to see the 55 foot tall statue of the big guy. We stopped at a small dairy that promised ice cream and cheese but were sorely disappointed they had no ice cream at all in the case and only some cheese curds and farmers cheese.     We started our journey down the Great River Road with more impending storm warnings for the evening. The traffic was a little hectic getting out of the city but it didn't take long for the suburbs to open up into rolling hills and farmland.     ... I had their chicken noodle soup, Classic Mac and chicken, and Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. On the way back to my gate, I grabbed a Caribou campfire mocha, my fav. My hair was driving me crazy and I realized I didn't pack a hairband. I couldn't find any at the convenience stores and I refused to buy a scrunchie. I did buy a little emergency kit and some gum. It had a safety pin the I used to get a couple splinters out of my knuckle (no idea where those came from). ...

    ... s for lunch. Jasmine broke a tail light when she backed into a gas tank, so after fessing up to Adolph she and I drove to Calmar to find replacement. When we got back we were immediately off to Jenny's to hang out by their pond. The girls swam, the adults chilled and trap shot.
