We took the bus to the Emeryville, and then boarded an Amtrak train to Sacramento, followed by another bus to the area of South Lake Tahoe.     ... the black clouds coming closer and closer. Then, the rain began! Now, we have lived in WA for most of our lives and we know rain but this storm easily made our Top 5 list. The rain caused flooding across the roads every 1/2 mile and the rain drops were so thick that people were dangerously stopped on the almost non-existent shoulder of an already too narrow road.     ... few tools we had the weight limit to bring here, we were off! We reached the 7392ft peak of the mountain and started a huge decent with a cliff on my side of the RV.
