... along with many of the other nearby buildings, was haunted; and that many of the hotel guests have had encounters with the spirits. The building also has historical value, in that in 1862 at this site Samuel Clemens became Mark Twain. The town was literally built on the side of a mountain, walking from where we parked to the main street we had to walk up what seemed like a 45 degree grade. We definitely had a great time this afternoon.

Well, we decided to go to Las Vegas via Sacramento and then Reno and then down to Carson City and then take route 395 all the way down the back side of the Sierra Nevada. This is supposed to be the most scenic route.
