My first day here in Western Australia. It had a slow start, having a late breakfast with Diane, and then chilling out and chatting!!!!!. Eventually we drove to town to Woolworths for grocery shopping and various other things. Very hot but with a lovely breeze. ... Have been here before but how it has changed. Lovely flight here. Wonderful food and a lovely cozy seat/bed. Can't wait to see what the next plane is like. Much larger apparently with more facilities. Wow. I will never want to fly again after this experience in Business class lol. Have met a lovely Syrian couple with a year old ...

stay #1. what was supposed to be a one night layover turned into two. the blame is fully on myself, I picked a cheap hotel smack in the center full of oblivious throngs rushing to spend their $$$ on junk in grimy stores. no green space around ...

Our hotel in Birmingham was near the New Street train station. Our walk from the station to our hotel gave us the opportunity to walk through the New Street shopping district and Victoria Square. The shopping district was pretty cool, it was a pedestrian zone with a narrow cobbled street. Victoria Square had some pretty unique sculptures. We had dinner ...
