When people think of cruises they normally think of a relaxing week laying by the pool while sailing through the ocean - this is definitely not what we experienced. We spent a lot of time running around exploring the Oasis of the Seas which is the biggest cruise ship in the world (technically it isn't the biggest, it has a sister ship called the Allure of the Seas which was built shortly after which is about half a metre bigger. It's just too nice here to leave and I found motivated people with whom we organized different little trips around. We are really like in a bird's nest, but because there is no wind for kitesurfing, we fly out to other adventures.
Started very relaxing with a day on the beach.
Next day had lunch at the yacht club, in an environment I am not used to anymore since I started my trip, even drank a glass of ...

... moments later on trying to work our way through the waves and out to the deeper swimming areas.

The water was cool at first but we quickly got accustomed to the temperature and had a very nice swim in some beautiful blue water. Ruthanna and I both mentioned that we wished the Texas coast looked so nice and not the mud color that the Texas beaches were pretty much all accustomed to seeing.
