Last night was our last night on this ship so we had the Captain's Farewell Cocktail Party and Farewell Dinner. As with the Welcome Dinner, we had another degustation menu. ... clearly influenced by the Germanic style which is prevalent in this area of France. Another little gem that Nathan was pleased with, was that the towns are located smack bang in the middle of the Alsace wine area. With miles and miles of vineyards spreading out through the hills and valleys there were heaps of cellars to visit.
