I'm definitely scared, a lot, and very sad to have left my family. But as predicted I've become a tad more confident. And I'm really tired, so hopefully I'll sleep. I've got my zzzquill just in case. Well it all started with a long flight, a chesty cough and delayed flight... We ended up trying to take the free buses to Manhattan from JFK, little did we know that at 3am on a Friday night this was not a good idea. Now, the one question that I answered in every conversation - am I excited? Of course I am excited. I am ...

... because he got sick of waiting for the lift. Our room is lovely on the 15th floor. We ordered a medium sized pizza which cost $27. We thought it was expensive until it arrived (at midnight) - it was HUGE, and delicious. We could not even eat half of it so have saved the rest for tomorrow. Weather forecast for tomorrow is rain and 48 ...

Shifted to a new hotel to get the Downtown experience. For the first time in my life, I have crossed the 50th floor, staying at the 51st floor. The moment I open the door, first thing I see from the window is the grand Freedom towers and I can overlook the 9/11 memorial. Right behind the Freedom tower is the Hudson River. What a magnificent view. The weather today added to the pleasantness - 1 degree, ...
