... to head back to Ouray, it was starting to get dark, and that and the rainclouds turned the sky a deep blue color behind the reddish-orange mountains. It was beautiful!
Driving back into town, the lights from the town filled the dark valley. We drove back to our hotel, and we are now watching the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics, while we plan for our day full of jeeping tomorrow!!
... first. At the moment, given the current occupier of the White House, I guess I've got the upper hand - it is great seeing your republican friends squirm. Now they know how we felt for 8 years of Bush/Cheney years. Ugh. The thought of it gives me an ulcer!

... to Imogene Pass..well almost to Imogene Pass. I actually stopped about 1 mile short of the pass and just enjoyed the view from a little lower. It was great getting above the trees and the views were outstanding. We really enjoyed Telluride and I can imagine that we'll make this a regular stop on the summer ...
