I don't know what Owen & Elise see in this Off-Roading thing! It's hard to keep ones footing when the Jeep is rocking and bouncing, but we did stop for a while of Marmot hunting on the Magie Gulch Trail. I ran all over that hillside and those darn Marmots just jump down a hole. So I didn't catch any, but it was fun. Check out the pics. ... to write the apology letter, we were the last to leave host other than sweep. So sweep caught up with us, but today that was a good thing because sweep was Kim and Carlee. They wanted to do second breakfast. Me, Leash and Redding were game to do that, too. Christine and Lorraine rode on. We got second breakfast at a place in Gunnison called The Bean. ... Lake, I got some nice reflections off the blue water. Here, as well, I met up with a group of about 8 people from Missouri who were hiking out to Lost Lake to do some fishing. As they were a friendly group, I accompanied them out to the lake, a location which gave me some of the best views of the surrounding mountain peaks. ... there, with a cement teepee, that actually sat on John Wayne's lap as he visited her family bar there many times while he shot movies there. That eveing i did wake up in the middle of the night and took many pics, this time occasionally scanning around with my red light headlamp looking for rattlesnakes, which were common there apparently. My rattlesnake,tarantula perimeter warning system worked great! I was able to catch 4 rattlers and 6 tarantulas. I just kept them in a bag ...
