    ... will offer my critique of those dishes trying to be as impartial as I can.

    I know one thing, however, having been assisting in the front of the house for the last few days: the service at Gilpin is much more impeccable and much less pretentious than at the Samling. It was a nice evening with good food, but as you know from other entries in this blog one can obtain good, tasty and fresh food without all the pretense. Stay tuned.

I surreptitiously found out her name and alerted the kitchen so a birthday preparation could be arranged by the kitchen for the dessert course.     ... Piglet and Beaver had been on a boat there after a very long and lovely walk, so they reminisced as they walked and chortled. We left Mummy Moll on a bench watching the world and lots of doggies go by as her knee was hurting. Luckily we remembered to go and fetch her!     Beaver and Mummy Moll awoke after being subjected to each other's purring, and after discussing how cosy the beds were, they had an early morning cuppa before going down for breakfast. What a breakfast it was too! A full English with eggs, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, baked beans, black pudding and toast!
