Well little Willbee groupies... Willbee went to school in Grasmere today. Well we visited a tiny little school called Church of England Grasmere School. Grasmere is a town where Beatrix Potter grew up and wrote her tales of Peter Rabbit a and Jemima Puddleduck. Maybe your teachers will show you some of these little stories. As part of their learning about Beatrix Potter the students made a veggie ...

... On either side of the road, you'll typically find stone walls. As in not 1 foot from the road. So yes, you have that disadvantage, multiplied by the fact you are driving a vehicle wight the steering wheel located on the other side of the car, multiplied by the fact the traffic is opposite side of the road. I will need to do some driving sometime this week, but I'm thankful Joe's been awesome at it thus far. Yorkshire lunch was great, and we thought we might get around ...

... John's son Robert. An absolutely gorgeous day! Blue skies & puffy white clouds! We stopped at the Tescos in Skipton. Wow, the store grew! Went through every single aisle. Kids loved it. Many pics on the camera. When we got to the cottage, we were exhausted. Moved into our respective cottages & had cocktails overlooking Malham Cove. Kids played in the great big backyard & we had spaghetti. Long day & fun cousin play time. From Maddie's Travel ...

I'm sad to leave the Lake District and vow to return when I can. I have fallen in love with the fells and valleys, cairns and rivers, peaks and waterfalls. It is as beautiful in rain as it is in shine and although brief, we have covered a great deal of ground in these few days.

Now on to Middlesbrough to stay with Jean and where Lizzie is waiting to meet ...

    Sunny sunny England!

So today was another beautiful sunny day. We have had some great weather so far, I mean yes some rain but really it's been fantastic. Today we left York and made our way to Bowness on Windmere. We took a boat cruise which was hot, cold, windy and not all at the same time. Beautiful old homes & cottages & tons of sailboats. It's like the Muskoka of England. After that it was free time so I wandered the town, had my first Cornish Pasty (traditional if course for ...
