    ... departure 12:05, landed 16:45 - Malta is 1 ahour ahead of UK. After a painful delay at immigration and a quick luggage pick up, off to the hotel in a Hertz rented Black Kia at 17:30 ish.     Nice stroll along the North Embankment side of Thames. Frustratingly the arthritis is causing me keen discomfort so we're moving more slowly this morn and just taking things as they come.     ... the whole time the plane was rolled back from the gate. He has visited Australia 14 times and seen more of it than me!! Had a nice snack of cheese, fruit and some rolled up meat (which I didn't eat of course!). They then went down the aisle and offered everyone a Belgian Chocolate - yum.
