Gemma and Chown headed off to a wedding leaving Knaps and I to venture into what can only be described as hell on earth, Blackpool. Imagine a town of Chavs but with all the other Chavs in the country coming in as well, for hens and bucks parties and just to get hammered. We drank for 15 hours it was fun. Met up with Caitlin smith from Mercure Sydney days and then with Nicky and Ashleigh some of Knaps mates I'd met in Singapore. Was a right laugh of people watching and bad 80's ...

Woke up in an ibis hotel coz Knaps and I had split up and she had the keys. Got back to house and then left at 11am for the North. That was 7 hours ago as I type this and it is a 3 hour drive normally. There was an incident on the freeway and they just closed it?! ... except for a couple of times when the machinery decided not to play properly and when we both managed to take a turn at falling over something - thankfully not into the canal! Luckily nothing was damaged except pride.




Eventually we made it to the 21st lock and passed through to the bottom at last. It was cuppa time!
