      ... the ship, in a desperate attempt to find some people who didn't look like they'd just stepped out of the movie "Cocoon". We saw some karaoke in the nightclub but no younger people. We watched the players in the casino but saw no young people. Feeling a bit deflated, we went for a late pasta snack before going back to our cabin. Hmmm...have we chosen the wrong cruise line?

      ... We decided to skip sushi because the menu didn’t appeal to us and we went to Park Café for a roast beef sandwich and salad. I got a tuna melt Panini and it was pretty good, but not as good as the roast beef. We saw the afternoon showing of Hairspray. I liked it but at two hours it was longer than I expected.       ... danger, so I refused to get out of the car. After talking with Gene on the phone, I learned that we were at a pump for LP gas. Many of the cars in Peru have dual fuel tanks. They do have everyone get out of the car when they fill with LP for safety!! Anyhow, our taxi driver went to a regular gas station and we stayed in the car, happy as clams. He was a very nice man and still got a good tip, and candy, from the two blondes.

      ... with apricot and warm passionfruit soufflé with custard. Afterwards, we wandered around the shops, people watched etc. We gave the Princess Theatre a miss and then headed back to the cabin to unpack.





      I tried logging into the internet from our cabin but it just doesn’t work in the cabin … will try to sort that out tomorrow. Instead we watched The Proposal on our TV.
