... thing we know, someone comes running out of the office we got our ticket from and tells us were at the wrong spot. Why did this man not tell us we were at the right bus? Clearly we had a ticket for a different company.

... is spectacular, a large sweeping cove with a picturesque headland which becomes an lsland during higher tides.

We had chosen Palolem over the quieter Patnem and Agonda beaches as we thought the fact that it is a bit livelier might be a good thing as we were to spend a whole 3 weeks there. We stayed at the north end which is the more family friendly end .with shallow calm water for safe child friendly swimming The south end of the beach has more of a night life ...

... twice we will get a group together with scooters and head of down the coast stopping in at various sights along the way until we arrive at one of the other beaches in time for lunch and relaxing afternoon before we return in time for cocktails. It's an awesome trip as we pass through little villages, farms and a bit of jungle. There is very little traffic so it is relatively safe to drive.

Even if you want to spend time alone and do you own thing no one bothers ...

... ready to swim in the sea. I hired a kayak and watched the sunset whilst bobbing around a mile or so from the beach. Perfect. I will head on tomorrow and am not sure if I'll be long in Goa as there are too many tourists and touts for my liking. I'll try and upload some photos before getting out in that kayak. I'm a lucky lucky chap indeedy. Photo uploads failed but I'll try this evening. I'm off exploring - perfect. ...
