They primary mission is to send out emergency tents and essentials to disaster areas, for example 7,000 boxes to the Philippines last year. Peter himself has deployed to disaster areas 20 times. ... like we were fraternising with the enemy, but nevertheless we went in. We ate lunch (quiche for Jo and a massive ploughman's for me) and took a wander around. The 14 state rooms were quite impressive (from huge halls to tiny antechambers), but all in all it felt more like a museum than anything else (each room, whether it was a kitchen or a great hall) was filled with items and display cabinets. ... many cousins etc together. Consequently we had a fabulous afternoon at Dorothy's , with cousins Dorothy, Sue and Bob, Lesley and Jennifer.
