      ... somewhat nicely kept up given that there wasn't much going on there. It's adjacent to Norfolk, a giant military city.

    • Norfolk, home to the east coast's largest Navy fleet, was insane - both traffic wise and people-wise. Couldn't get near the base of course, so I headed to Virginia Beach for the night, 20 minutes away.
    • Saw an awesome moon-skape over the atlantic (see picture, kind of).

      ... flew that morning, for sure but the afternoon plan was to head to a conservation area for a hike.       ... was no sign of it in the cars, the bar..nothing. But what could I do... We carried on our day. Dipan made us an adorable breakfast. He made us pancakes and actually squeezed oranged to make juice! He's such a sweetheart.       ... and fried. Once the meals were eaten the room emptied except our touring party of adults, the girls went up stairs where there was a ring to shoot and all the boys left. So we left there for the motel and sat at the bar for a while and had a couple of drinks. Back to the room for a couple of Sam's, checked facebook and did some blogging.
