This was the roughest part of the trip, not that it was coming to an end but because we had been up for 22 hours. We finally made home at 11:30 pm and as quickly as we could it was into bed. We have been so blessed in many ways and we thank you for allowing us to share them with ...

All the airports around Fort Worth are showing Light IFR and IFR conditions (Instrument Flight Rules) so we're on ...

... we stopped by a display of airplanes and weaponry. Dan took some pictures of those, too. He learned that this base was once the largest SAC Air Force base (SAC meant airplanes that carried nuclear weapons), but they closed the base (as an AF base) several years ago and made it a joint Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps air base.

We stopped by the commissary (base grocery store) for ...

I sit here on Southwest flight 609 somewhere over New York on our return flight to Texas. We fly into Houston's Hobby Airport and change planes for a connection to Dallas. Overall it was a great week. Temperatures were fantastic, a bit of rain to start things out, and a great visit with family. Yesterday while running some errands Tammy asked if we could stop by Stephen King's house to take a picture in front of it. This is becoming somewhat of a tradition for us on ...
