... bison were mooing occasionally, just like cows. After looking at the bison we drive to a nearby mini golf course. The golf holes were absolutely huge! Also several of the holes were multi level. You would start at the top level and if you got the ball into the side holes the ball would move down to the middle level, but if you got it into the middle hole the ball would go straight to the bottom level. Sam did pretty well for the first 9 holes, ...

10/1 Day 102 We are still camped at Texan RV Ranch and went sightseeing in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We started out going to Dealey Plaza this was the site where John Kennedy was shot. We decided to not go into the museum but to see some more of Fort Worth. We got hung up in accident traffic on our way from Dallas to FW so it took quite a while to make the trip.

First we visited the Fort Worth Stockyards. This is the oldest stockyards in the US. The surrounding area ...

Suzie took us to the first on the list and it turned out to be a Hilton. So we decided to go to another place – it turned out to be more of a bar-b-q joint so we went to place 3. Once again this looked more like a neighborhood college bar, but it ...

I was leaving for my semester abroad at the University of Leicester in the UK. I was so happy when I received the news that I was accepted to study abroad, but since then it was at the back of my mind. I spent the summer working at a Hawaiian Falls waterpark saving money and waiting for the day I left on my journey. (also if my friend Alan is reading this, I feel very guilty for not getting you those free ...

... Sally went with Pork Shank with Chorizo Black-eyed Pea Hash while I went with Rib Eye Steak with Cook's Butter. I also ordered a side dish of Bourbon Creamed Corn. The servings were large and we brought some steak and pork back but left most of the corn. We tried the Dessert Tacos with Caramelized Bananas and Chocolate Gravy. Best gravy ever!
Since we were only 10 blocks from our hotel we walked back. Not bad but warm. Now in our room at 9:30 so sleep time is ...
