... and Spanish - Texas was a Spanish Colony until the 1800's. I found a great little coffee shop called 'Jupiters' which is a bit like 'The Sweat Shop' back in Townsville used to be. Loads of coffees, smoothies etc and a bohemian atmosphere. Uni students populate this place, all with their laptops, tablets out because it has free wifi. It was the usual disorganization in getting loaded, but Mike and Jacki saw us off as we boarded. It was a wonderful visit and we dodged the nasty weather--north of Dallas in Oklahoma before we got there; and there were flash floods in San Antonio after we left!
