Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia's Capital
There are 3 public holidays in a row May 1, 2, and 3 so we took our first trip. We drove from our home in Penang to KL (as they call it here), which was about a 3.5-hour drive. We stayed in a great hotel called The Ascott that had a pool on the rooftop giving us an amazing view of the adjacent Petronas Towers (yes, the ones in that movie with …
Travelling to KL.
We had our last breakfast and headed to the airport. We should have left earlier and were really pushing it for time as Singapore has a huge Airport. We got our boarding pass with only 5 minutes to spare, needless to say we won't be doing that again. We checked in passed Immigration and proceeded to the plane.

Exploring Nature in KL
We took our time getting to breakfast this morning which is on level 22 this morning in the skylouge. It is another buffet breakfast, however it doesn't have the spread of the Park Royal breakfast. There was enough variety to keep us going and we fueled up for the day.

Comfortable and well located, and good value compared to the sky high prices of Singapore. Two full bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious living area and a well equipped kitchen worked well for three adults
