... an enigmatic prehistoric monument and one of the most famous sites in the world, started 5,000 years ago and modified by ancient Britons over a period of 1,000 years. Its purpose continues to be a mystery with much of the site untouched by archaeologists, It was cold and wet when we arrived but worth seeing all the same.

Another hour travel on country roads to Bath, a late dinner and this update sees another good day in the UK over.
