Stage one of our journey...arrived at Bristol bus station (an hour early). Having a coffee and a blueberry muffin to keep us going until we get to the airport. I found one of Tilly's cat hairs on my trousers and felt a bit emotional and homesick already. But it's cold and raining here in Bristol City centre, so I'm sure when the 36 degree heat of Bangkok hits me I will forget all about the ...

Finally, today's the day! We fly tonight from Heathrow. This morning will be spent finishing off final bits of packing-checking what's packed, unpacking it and repacking it! (He doesn't look much different...once again maybe it is the scrumpy?) We chat up some of the locals, try the cider (8% alcohol) and take a walk around. I'm not much for, but Guenther likes it cause it doesn't have the heavy yeasty taste of beer. We stay for a little while and try some of the rough (unsweetened) cider. This is not much better. We thank ...

... we feel like." Being as hungry as we all were, four of us all pointed to a ham and cheese sandwich that was on top of the counter, to which the lady responded, "well you can't all have it!" We just wanted her to make one for us, we didn't expect her to sell us that exact one. We all ended up getting one on a different bread, and despite its apparent simplicity, the sandwich was excellent. I enjoyed the buttered and salted top ...
