Day 12: Aunt Tina's

A travel blog entry by aorseno on Jul 13, 2015

A full day at my aunt's house was exactly what I needed. Today was fantastic. When we woke up, we hung around for a little while. We ate some fresh fruit from the garden, made smoothies, and had some tea. Once we got ready for the day, we left for the beach. We tried a sparkling, c******nay, zinfandel, cab sauv and a dessert wine. Everyone had been a bit quiet and nervous with each other before, but the wine soon loosened us all up! I told Amanda it was a great idea to get everyone drinking early on the first day! She said this tour doesn't run very ...

... Ranger pamphlet with Alex. Then set off to Tamales Bay for oysters.

There're 3 oyster farms (as far as we know) in the area, Tamales Bay Oyster Farm, Hog Island Oyster Farm, and Drakes Bay Farm. Curtis bought a bag of 50 oysters from Hog Island. The plan was to shuck them all, eat raw and BBQ. So excited, couldn't wait!!!
