We arrived late on the 7th after a day at Royal Birkdale and were warmly greeted by the receptionist.

Up graded to a large room facing the sea was another bonus even if the sand went out 300 metres further than you see at Coolangatta.

The next morning was a great surprise with blue skies no wind and a warm 20 degrees.
