... had some toast on my I would have offered him some. Silly old git!
Flight was fine. No issues turbulence issues. I hate flying. Feel every lurch or creak or bump will take me to my maker. Susan loves it. But wait there. Things change. Crew were very nice but somewhat boring. No fit stewardesses. Most were as old as the jam man. Still we got to Calgary 8.40 mins later and what a beautiful day it was. Had to wait a few hours for ...

... when we eventually got into Heathrow, we went to one of our favourite italian restaurants only to be told that they were not serving food at 8.20 pm which seems to be early to be closing the kitchen. But luckily, there was a trusted Wetherspoons next to it where we had a excellent meal and a few drinks to get us over the journey.

    Next stop Quito.
