      ... a considerable distance away. Stilling feeling the effects of my 'magic potion' I staggered along the concourse somewhat akin to a new born giraffe looking to take its first steps.       ... when we eventually got into Heathrow, we went to one of our favourite italian restaurants only to be told that they were not serving food at 8.20 pm which seems to be early to be closing the kitchen. But luckily, there was a trusted Wetherspoons next to it where we had a excellent meal and a few drinks to get us over the journey.

      ... had been on time - but ..... it was delayed too! But it did leave only about 15 or 20 minutes behind schedule and we arrived back in Gladdy around 12.20pm. As Deb had said to me in a text earlier in the day - we were almost ready to kiss the ground!

      So of course no luggage to collect and because we were now a day later than planned, Grant couldn't pick us up so we caught a cab and arrived at home sweet home around 1pm.
