Snow is falling all around..... excitment is in the air with Whistler mountain opening at the weekend. Hey folks,<br><br>I got a great offer for an internship for Club ESL Tours and now I am working as a Tourguide Trainee for the company=) It is unpaid, but i get the possibility to travel with the company on their trips, do a little bit of guiding and get lots of activities (e.g. this time: Bungee Jumping) =)<br>Have fun with the pictures=)<br>

Stopped at a mining museum along the way. Very interesting. Many TV shows and movies have used the shafts and buildings. Funny thing. I was in one of the shafts and in the processing building on Wednesday and on Friday night I saw them in Stargate SG1!<br>

... so gentle and almost surreal just sliding along with the brightest white snow blinding in all directions....then came The Saddle!!! As per usual with my excitement versus skill level, it seemed I had bitten off more than I can chew. I associate this with my fear of embarrassment from stacking it in front of stacks of powder addicts and also the chance of sliding down an icey 30 degree slope for 100m. I managed to break a new world record for taking the longest to get down this 300m run ...

... driving so we didn't get a good look but we're sure it was and that's good enough for us! Our hotel in Whistle ris brilliant. It's central, reasonably priced, we have a hotub in the room, a gas fire and a balcony. Our favourite bit is the kitchenette which means we've been able to cook and eat in, going out for dinner every night gets a bit dull. Whistler is a really laid back place so we've really relaxed here, it's been a nice slow part of the trip ...

Its great my day is filled with ski, work, food and sleep. And thats all I do!! I love it!! And the snowfall this year is amazing! Once I hit the TransCanada near Lake Louise I turned westward through Yoho National Park where I stopped for some lunch at Pass Creek.
