Great night's sleep, woke at 6.00am feeling refreshed. Explored day spa, gym area which looks straight over the fountain and burj khalifa. Then went to Dubai Mall and to At The Top Burj Khalifa. Straight up the lift - 124 floors in 1 minute! Phew! Very proud of Craig going out on the outdoor viewing platform, even with jelly legs! Fantastic view, a …

We did manage to find a few in the Dubai Mall which is HUGE- kinda like Mall of Americas maybe with aquarium, ice skating etc as well as ...

... times a day but I still can’t believe this is real. The ACTE Education Forum was a full day of learning, much like the other days, and I was wiped out by the end of it. I spent the evening finding the hotel (there are three hotels in the vicinity with the same name and no specific address to distinguish each of them), looking out the window at the amazing sparkling buildings, and writing this post ...

... we decided to explore anyway. From the museum we had to cut through the Bur Dubai souk. The alleyways are not wide so it makes swerving the inevitable impossible. As we continued through the passage ways, every stall owner stepped in front of us wanting us to ‘just look!’ The temptation was great but our will power had to be strong. When it comes to cheap trinkets and tacky souvenirs, I’m browse royalty. Just when the urge was becoming too great for me to ...
