... our hotel quite easily and checked in. This is the only hotel where we have to pay for parking - however, when we check out we are entitled to a 20% discount on the parking. The car is parked a block away at the parking building attached to the Liverpool Football Club arena. The hotel is situated at Albert Dock in a former warehouse. The Albert Dock area has been transformed into a fabulous tourist precinct with restaurants, museums and pedestrian areas.
We had four days and four nights with Trevor, Moira, Abi and Beth in their new home in Preston. We travelled to the Lake District, Hadrians Wall, Castlerigg Stone Circle, Keswick and through the beautiful parks on the river Ribble.
