We call our new manager “General,” because she orders us around like privates in her army, rather than treating us with respect for being the skilled, salaried, and degreed employees that we are. General needs to hire a department manager who will report to her, and I applied for the position.

“What? General wants CONNIE to have that position?” I protest. “Connie has no personality ...

We discovered that 'fast passes' were the best thing invented, and definitely a great way to experience as much as possible! To work a fastpass you had to insert your ticket into the fast pass machine at the start of certain rides, and another ticket was produced that told you a time to come back to that ride. When you returned you had the joy ...

... path to Venice Beach. It's pretty much a dive there but we got to see muscle beach and a lot of strange and interesting characters on the way. We all had a great time riding the beach cruiser bikes, even Dawn! Ruby only fell off twice and did no major damage so that counts as a successful trip. Coming from Australia where we hardly ever tip is pretty annoying but it's sad to think that most jobs here get paid near to nothing and they have to rely on the tips of customers!) We finished our juice and went back to our hotel to pick up our rental car and then went to a delicious Mexican restaurant called Chipotle! By this time I was extremely exhausted from the flight over and the ...

... go home alone while Leanne and Ellen head back to the other park for some last minute rides. Quick stop at 7 - 11 to purchase some beers and then I'm back in the room to have a quiet one before I head off to tea at the Cheesecake Factory. Nice meals, nice drinks and plenty of laughs for our last dinner together.

Back to the room again for some packing and sleep before we leave tomorrow.

Have fun, because you know I will be.
