      ... not appear dripping from any of them :( we also visited Bakewell to sample a Bakewell pudding (yes it's different from a Bakewell tart).
      Today we said goodbye to our wonderful hosts and drove into York to catch the train back to London. The Viking museum of Jorvik is fascinating and the 'Shambles' is unbelievably quaint and cute.
      Tomorrow I get to experience the great British railway system up close and we will be visiting Kings Cross station and Platform nine and three quarters ...

      ... duplicate competition a few times though we did come an emphatic last when we played as partners. We probably reached ‘Improvers Level’ and may well join a club when we are again settled in Ripon. Nick managed to improve his classical guitar playing though perhaps not as much as he would have hoped and he may go on and try and do something constructive with this in the future. We both managed to read with Jo reading 16 books and attending the QM2 Book Club. ...
