    ... it! You have to commit and go for it apparently!! Anyway, got a train and two planes to go before we get there! I really enjoyed writing my blog when we went to Sri Lanka and a lot of you said you enjoyed reading it so that's why I'm doing it again!     ... remembers that the mill was sold by the last of the Waltons to Joseph Carson in around 1920. He's not sure when the mill moved from the river into a warehouse - probably somewhere in the 1930s or 40s. He knows Byard's Lodge and Stockwell Lodge, but has not known that Waltons ever lived there and has never socialised with any Waltons except Ronald Walton, who was the same age as Dennis, went to the same school and played cricket ...

    ... up by the tide and boats. It is apparently one of the cleanest urban rivers in Europe and had 121 different species of fish! There is a statue of Sir Winston Churchill in central London. He said to his Family when he died he didn't want a statue of himself because he didn't want pigeons to poo on his head. Interestingly enough, they made a statue of him but there is no poo on his head ... because there is an electric current running through the statue so if the birds sit on him ...

    ... on a cloud. I visited the Weatherspoon used to be a huge ballroom...very impressive and great pints of beer from local breweries....also went to their church...again....beautiful...and they had an afternoon tea happening in the church...beautiful stain glassed windows...Nikki was thrilled to find chestnuts in the park...we got heaps before the squirrels got them. Tomorrow we head for the Lakes District...then Paris. Till next time. ...
