    Making the most of the sunshine

    ... are the lovely big lake and the endless woodlands and green spaces. Kids, dogs, bikes, games, picnics, ice creams, even cricket matches, it all happens in Clumber! We did the 10 mile cycling circuit (with a brief stop for sandwiches half way round) and had a great time. At the end we rewarded ourselves with a good old Mr Whippy!!

    Nico headed back to Nottingham early evening for a day of work on Wednesday and the girls got themselves an overdue early night!

    Lets stretch those sea legs...

    ... that we should be at Terminal 2, which was 2 miles away..... groan !

    Whoops !

    As Donna has just said on Facebook "You wouldn't believe we were seasoned travellers !"

    We nearly ended up in Rotterdam !

    So 10 minutes later - after returning to the car, leave Terminal 1, drive to second car park and after passing Miss Hitler on passport control we finally boarded the correct ferry.

    ... other car to do some shopping in nearby Knaresborough and Harrogate. Both Jessica and Riley will celebrate birthdays this coming week and I had delayed purchasing gifts so I wouldn’t have to transport them, so this was our opportunity to take care of that matter.
