... went by in a flash. We drove down to Finikounda, a seaside village which has expanded to meet the needs of the tourists and which has two lovely beaches and a very small harbour. We also visited Koroni, a picturesque town overlooked by a castle and with a working harbour. It was only ten minutes away by car so we went there a few times to enjoy the cheese pies at the cafe along the seafront!

I walk as much as I can when in Methoni, taking advantage of the opporunity to be by the sea, regardless of the weather.

Every year the winter storms batter the coastline, wreaking damage along the promenade. Most year's - come spring, efforts are made to repair the damage, but now there are no repairs. is it because of the economy or because the repairs never last so ...

... sauce and I tried my new skill at making a Greek salad....and I bagged an tagged my own vegetables and fruit at the store - take that!! Ok, maybe I tried to get the girls to do it for me but Kelly intervened and wouldn't let them. Will always says I am a "creature of habit" and makes fun of me for not trying new things but whatever - I don't like being uncomfortable.

Apparently the gypsies didn't move out of the area as we could hear the loud music ...
