    ... I've had a premonition about our luggage not arriving in time for the cruise.

    Anyway headed off to the American Airlines office. The lady there wasn't the most helpful in the world. She just kept saying that I should have a baggage tag number and basically ignored the Qantas print out I had then proceeded to move on to the next customer.     ... a Kevin's hadn't she had to queue with him. There were very few officials and the queues were big and fractious. The officer at the head of our queue disappeared without explanation leaving people to grow restless as they could see other queues going down. When someone complained, a guard said; "Do you want me to bring the lady with the gun to speak to you?" It all seemed a bit brutalist and chaotic.

    ... rack of lamb. It was a very pleasant meal with fantastic service. We walked home and grabbed a choc fudge sundae from McDonald's for dessert. We are now in bed and I think I will finish this off to get some sleep before our cruise tomorrow. Pretty excited as I have never done the cruise thing before and the water is a beautiful turquoise colour here so I can only imagine how clear it will be in the Bahamas... I hope so anyway.     ... Patrick from Chicago whose brogue let me know he is Irish. It turns out that his people hail from County Clare, 8 miles from the village of Killkee from where the Russell’s come.
