... the room had a completely new aroma, that of strong cleaning products. That evening, inspired by the cleaners less than subtle hint that we smell bad, we found a nearby coin laundry. ... to our lives! We arrived in Geneva just after the tourist information centre closed, but were saved by some mobile 'travel angels' - tourist information people dressed in orange at the train station. They gave us a map with a list of hotels and prices, but we still spent some time hunting down something not too expensive! Yesterday was a very full day of sightseeing. We started off with a guided city tour of Geneva and learned quite a bit. We didn't realize that it's the second largest city in Switzerland, and is home to several international organizations. The WHO, United Nations and the World Trade Organization are all based here, and it's also where the International Red Cross originated.
