... fish and at least twice the price we have normally been paying, so tonight we had to make a run away quickly and not look back! Then we were searching for somewhere with wifi, spotted what looked like a nice restaurant on the rooftop of a hotel so went on up, asked to look at the menu and it seemed okay so stayed.. It had a white markee with a Russian waitress and Nepalese over enthusiastic chef showing us the menu and what to order. He basically ...

I managed it all but having a lovely last day and night made me even more sad to leave. More adventures to come I know, but Mandrem, somehow you stole a little piece of me and I'll need to come back soon to reinstate ...

... were nearby, but got no answer (it's about 3am). First night in Goa and no accommodation! Brill :) The taxi driver very obligingly drove me around a few places asking people if they knew of the huts, or if any rooms were available. We even woke up two young lads asleep behind a desk out the front of a hotel. No room at the inn here..

Luckily there was a bar open!

Said goodbye to the taxi man and scanned the bar for likely people to talk to, and decided ...
