After 6 hours of sack time, Jen, Hansel and I hit up the big sights and fortunately it was a beautiful day in London. We had a delightful morning and then I was back on the train to Heathrow. ... a stroll around the Aquadrome and Grand Union Canal to see the narrowboats with our great friends Ken and Pat. Taking into account that it has been sunny and very hot in London for the past 3 or so weeks, we did not take umbrellas. WRONG!!! We got caught in a heavy shower while walking along the canal and had to shelter under some trees. We got soaked. Been to the UK plenty of times so we ...
