... had spilled beer or some such on it, though, and the flies were so numerous that I slept in my car, cramped in the back seat through mostly laziness. My own fault.

... weeks, selfish friends, a very loving but invasive family, and the possibility that the universe may not work in my favor. I went to work on the eleventh day, a Sunday. Sundays generally mean nothing more than a double shift, and tired bones to me. The first part of the shift was dragging. ... the weather, a massive theatre in the park, hotdog stands (no ketchup area) and families of kids playing in a water fountain park where they wait for the fountain to spew water from a lite pro screen of a persons mouth. We took photos of "The Mercury drip " which was amazing how it played tricks on your eyes and reflected the landscape and people. How bizarre but marvellous.
