... pined for a photo with Mickey! Pluto yearning fulfilled, we hit the road for Boynton Beach to visit Heidi at her humble abode. ...Thank you Magic Kingdom, Marilyn - my love, for a wonderful 'week two' of our Cali-Florida adventure!
After leaving the Park, we headed south to once again connect with the lovely and talented Heidi Elden. She was kind enough to welcome us into her charming rancher style home in, as she described, a typical Florida neighbourhood. ...

Today we left Miami and land to hit the seas for a 2 week voyage around the Caribbean and Bahamas. Super exciting as this is our first time on a cruise and our boat 'Allure of the Seas" is the largest cruise liner in the world, supposedly.

From our hotel, we arrived at Port Everglade around 1230pm for our check-in. The whole process is a massive event. Firstly, straight out of the taxi, we dropped off our luggage with one of the attendants. It seemed a bit ...

Today I'm taking the long 2 and a half hour flight to Managua, Nicaragua...a nice change from last summer's 20+ hour flight to Indonesia. I'll be in touch soon and I hope you will as well :)

      Hurricane warnings everywhere

      Can you
believe that over here, it's cheaper per day for a family of five to do a fully
catered cruise than it is to stay in a dodgy hotel in Miami with
nothing included? Well it was something we were looking at to kill the last few days in the States until we checked out the weather report. Hmmm, we hadn't actually realised it was
hurricane season when we arrived in Florida but are now quite aware
of the fact. Most places we have stayed have had ...
