    Great Hotel! Great Breakfast!

    from

Great Hotel! Huge rooms! Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Like 2 other places in NS, I picked this place from tripadvisor reader comments, but only this one exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend.

    Excellent

    from

I stayed here while in Halifax for business, and it was an EXCELLENT choice in all respects. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast a great start to the day, the rooms spacious and well appointed. Internet aceess was very affordable and easy using my laptop.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone - business or leisure traveller. A family of 4 would have no problem fitting into one of the very spacious suites (separate lounge room)

Favorite place to to stay in Halifax

    from

The Radisson has the friendliest, most helpful staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is great. The complimentary continental breakfast provides a nourishing start to the day. The suite is comfortable and spacious. Good value.

    Great Location

    from

The suites are very spacious and well appointed. Try to get a suite on an upper floor and which faces the harbor - the views are great. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. There are free snacks during happy hour and a nice continental breakfast in the morning (included). They also have cookies available throughout the day.

The hotel is located about two short blocks from the waterfront and directly in front of the area where all the "action" is. There is a fairly steep slope up from the water to the upper part of town, so the hotel's close proximity to the water makes returning to the hotel a pleasure compared to the climb that would be needed to get to other main hotels. The hotel is also in easy walking distance from some fantastic restaurants and great night life action. The location could not be better for enjoying the city of Halifax.

The airport shuttle will drop you off and pick you up by the hotel. As will the car rental places (we used Hertz which was had the best rates and was located a few blocks away by the casino).

I highly recommend the Radisson Suites hotel for a comfortable stay in Halifax!

    Great weekend rates

    from

Had a great friday and saturday [16/17 April 2004] stay. Nice large room, very clean, great maid service, good view of harbor. Eastside Marios down stairs is a great place for a meal and beer after a long day travelling.

    Unbelievable value

    from

This hotel is an unbelievable value. The rooms have every convenience; they are extremely spacious (ask for a corner suite - they're the largest); the staff is great; rooms are beautifully appointed; and to top it all off. a complimentary continental breakfast with a large, healthy variety of items. It's the best I've stayed in anywhere.

Great hotel in a great city

    from

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and have been very satisfied. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are large and are uniquely shaped - all suites. The pool/fitness area is well-equipped and clean. Internet access was easy. East Side Marios downstairs is convenient. Windows in the centre rooms (102, 202, 302, etc.) are small and don't afford much of a view.

    Great hotel

    from

This is my favourite hotel in Halifax. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are fabulous. For basically the same cost as a hotel room elsewhere, you get a large suite and breakfast. Each room is a little bit unique, but they are all huge, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast is fun - they turn the bar into a breakfast buffet. A little crowded, but sociable and lots of healthy breakfast choices too. Spring for turn-down service! They leave these yummy locally made florentines and a nip of Bailey's irish cream. Mmmm...

    Room to spare

    from

I just spent two nights in this property and I found the value to be terrific. I enjoy suites, so this one really fit the bill. Plenty of room, hi-speed internet access, attentive staff, valet parking ($17.50/nt!)and a great location.

You need a roadmap to find your way around the suite--it's that big.

Breakfast was great, but you might have to plan around the crowded times. Free breakfasts draw everyone!

    Great Hotel

    from

The friendliest staff, large suites, fantastic service. Stayed for the weekend and loved every minute. Best hotel in Halifax

... world and we have to say, one of the prettiest.

We then back tracked up the same road to get to our next destination of Lunenburg, N.S. You would think that since it was just a 30 miles we would be there in no time but it took all afternoon since we stopped frequently to see the beautiful homes, pleasant fishing coves, the turning leaves and fine old churches. We are seeing fewer tourists ...

... shaped fortress, following which there is a ceremony of changing if the guard. We dragged ourselves up the hill, in perfect time to see this. There were security guards everywhere to make sure we stood well back, while they fired the gun, then we moved over to where the guardsmen all donned in their kilts were changed. The Scots guards have a great uniform and.like several people we saw, some wore not just the uniform of their Celtic forebears, but also the thick ginger facial ...

... Although Titanic sunk nearer New Brunswick, Titanics head office was in Halifax and Halifax had transportation to and from the USA via rail. Only 150 survivors! Rest were buried at sea or across 3 cemeteries in Halifax. Then in 1917 two boats collided in the narrowest part of the harbour. One was carrying gunpowder. The explosion is the worst in history bar the nuclear war! 1/2 of the population were injured or killed...most houses and businesses in the harbour area were ...

Well...After a very long morning of issues, Brittany and I have made it to the airport and have checked in. While we are sitting here, waiting for our 4:30pm take-off to Toronto, I figured I would take the opportunity to tell the story of how Brittany and I conquered the struggle of getting here.

This morning, as I just finished packing my suitcase I found out that not only was it 13 pounds overweight, but it was also over-sized. This would have ...

Both of us had a shower and piled in bed to get frustrated finding something to watch Richard is lucky he can watch utube on his ipad and give me a headache with the sound while I am trying to watch the TV. I think a sleeping pill will fix us tonight even though the bed is lovely and comfy you just sink into it.
