We spent 2 nights in Santa Fe so that we had a day to sight see in the historic section of Santa Fe. Santa Fe is a neat town. We walked most of the day, but did start out using the free shuttle bus to get from where we parked to the Palace of the Governors. Next stop was the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. She was born in 1887 in Wisconsin and died in Santa Fe in 1986. She married a famous photographer who lived in NYC; their marriage fell out of favor so she began spending her summers in Santa Fe from 1929 to 1949. ... the roof with cars behind us, but we came out of it more knowledgeable of life.

The Plaza is a square block park in the middle of downtown with lots of shops and merchant stands and even live music in the evening. We looked around in a lot of stores we couldn't afford, but it was fun to see the really nice jewelry and western goods. The entire area is super beautiful with lots of adobe architecture and has a very welcoming feel. The author of the Game ...

And so today, we're off to Sante Fe!

... re-org of the suitcases to have one ready for the plane home (and a good 10kg heavier than when it came out with our loot), one ready for the next few days in Holbrook, Albuquerque and Phoenix, one ready for ranching in Tucson and one with everything else.... It's amazing how much you can actually accumulate on the way after only a week. Already slightly tipsy .. Thanks to Will and Jade's Pressie.. we got ready for our Posh night out. Cheers Guys. xx
